Ada May, age 88, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 surrounded by her family. Mrs. May was born February 28, 1927 in Ravenden, Arkansas to John Edward and Lottie Bell Blansett. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. May's two loves, other than her family, was gardening and cooking. She was known for her delicious fried pies, enjoyed by family and friends.

Mrs. May was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur May; daughter, Carilon Roper; daughter-in-law, Kerry May; one brother and two sisters.

She was survived by one son, Larry May of Stamps, AR; daughter, Jean Matthews and husband, Bill of Horatio, AR; one son-in-law, Wayne Roper of Waskom, TX; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August, 24, 2015 at Smith Funeral Homes in Stamps, AR with Bro. Mickey May officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner, AR.
