Alfred Fitzgerald,72, of Taylor Arkansas passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022. He was born December 27, 1949, in Springhill, Louisiana to Bruce Fitzgerald, Sr. and Mattie Octavia (Bishop) Fitzgerald. Alfred enjoyed riding the backroads and visiting with friends. When not out visiting or riding, he would enjoy listening to music and watching television shows from yesteryears. One of Alfred's favorite pass times would be when he was "messing with Baby Boy about Bigfoot."

Mr. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Leta Fitzgerald; two brothers, Elvis Fitzgerald, and Bruce Fitzgerald.

Alfred is survived by his mother, Mattie Fitzgerald of Bussey, Arkansas; one son, Reece Fitzgerald of Taylor, Arkansas; three brothers, Doug Fitzgerald (Loretta) of Bussey, Arkansas; Vernon Fitzgerald of Bussey, Arkansas; and Milton Fitzgerald of Walker Creek, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Bussey Cemetery in Bussey, Arkansas with Brother Gladney Hunt officiating, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.
