Alice Louise Herring, age 60, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 in a Shreveport hospital. She was born on September 1, 1954 in Springhill, Louisiana to Edward Harmon and Lois May Smith Allen. She loved to share her love of sewing and drawing with others.

Mrs. Herring was preceded in death by her parents; husband John David Herring, and a son, Edward John Herring.

She is survived by one son, John Jacob Herring of Bossier City, LA; one daughter, Tina Marie Herring of San Antonio, TX; Three Grandchildren, Brittany L. Hanus, Cheyenne M. Saucedo, and Kayla A. Saucedo; Three sisters, Susan Brookes of Phoenix, Arizona, Betty Ashworth of Stamps, Arkansas, and Martha McKenzie of Minden, Louisiana. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2 pm Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Bradley, Arkansas with Bro. Gladney Hunt officiating.
