Mrs. Ann Pierce, 94 Yrs., of Lewisville, AR, passed away May 8th in the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock, AR.
She was born March 30, 1920 in Lewisville, AR. To Joe and Nettie Long Harris Sr.
She was a member of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Lewisville, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 75 yrs.; General Pierce Sr., two daughters; Nettye B. Hicks and Dorothy E. Harper, Eight siblings, & one grandson; Justin D. Furlow
Survivors include; Four sons; General Pierce, Jr.(Maureen) of Little Rock, AR, Joe (Denise), Otis Sr.(Maleah), and Jimmy Pierce (Wilisa) all of Dallas, TX. Four daughters; Mrs. Fannie Jones and Mrs. Shantina Ferguson (Alton)both of Dallas, TX. Mrs. Shirley Grigsby (Roger)of Lewisville, AR. And Mrs. Artie Furlow (Edward)of Camden, AR. Her granddaughter & caregiver; Ms. Tigress Point of Lewisville, AR.Twenty-two grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, & four great great-grandchildren. A host of nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 13th, at 12 noon, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR. With burial to follow in the Old Town Cemetery in Lewisville, AR. Under the direction of Smith Funeral home, Inc. of Stamps, AR. Officiating will be Rev. David Walters.
