Annie Ilene Taylor Cook, 83, passed away on March 17, 2025, at Wentworth Nursing Home in Magnolia, Arkansas, after a lengthy illness. Annie was born August 1, 1941, to Basil and Fern Taylor in Genoa, Arkansas.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Basil and Fern Taylor; her daughter, Rita Pyle; her sons, David Pyle and Matthew Cook. Also preceded in death by her brother, Monroe Taylor; and sisters, Fern Murry and Jewel Hickerson.

She is survived by her son, Mark Cook, Fouke, Arkansas; her brothers, David Taylor and wife Carolyn, of Doddridge, Arkansas, Ira Taylor and wife Jo, of Atkins, Arkansas, Charles Taylor of Stamps, Arkansas; sister, Margaret Pritchard of Owens, Texas; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many other family members.

Annie loved her children and loved the music they all shared, and loved her family as well. She also loved to crochet, write poems, and many other talents. She loved to read her Bible including having bible study at the nursing facility.

The family would like to thank all the employees, administration, nurses, and anyone that helped take care of Annie while she was in Wentworth Nursing Home. It is truly appreciated.

A memorial service will be held for Annie Cook on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Bloomburg, Texas and will be officiated by Ira Taylor.
