Ava McCalman, age 90, of Bradley, Arkansas passed away February 24, 2020 at Wadley Regional Medical Center. She was born October 1, 1929 in Stamps, Arkansas to Albert and Essy Bolton Nix.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Billy McCalman.

She is survived by one son, Lynn McCalman and wife, Pam of Curtis, AR; one daughter, Charlotte Smith and husband, Richard of Bradley, AR; two grandchildren, Al Green and wife, Melissa and Lydia Harrison all of Texarkana, AR; four great grandchildren, Maria Harrison and boyfriend, Tanner Reaves, Rex Harrison, Ondrea Green and Josh Green; and one great great grandchild, Josie Reaves. She loved spending time with every one of her grandchildren and loved them all, but she had a special bond with Ondrea.

Graveside services will be held at 10AM, Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Walnut Hill Cemetery with John Braden officiating, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes. No visitation.
