Barbara Lee

Barbara Jewel Allen Lee, age 91 of Magnolia, Arkansas, died Friday, June 19, 2020 in a Magnolia nursing home.

Mrs. Lee was born September 8, 1928. She worked through the years for Kennedy's Grocery in Bradley, she was a seamstress at Shanhouse, worked for Jack Winter, Alan White and Co. and was a store clerk at Handy Stop. Her final job was to prepare lunch at Jack N Jill Daycare for all her kids who affectionately called her Memaw. She enjoyed spoiling her grands and their friends for weekend visits regularly. She was saved at an early age and loved God above all else. She was a lifetime member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Springhill. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Quinton Lee, her parents, Jewel B. Allen and Ruby Glasgow, one brother, J R Allen and her sister Gail Dailey.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Gary Bruce Lee and Linda, Marsha Lee Collins and Billy and Steve Randall Lee and Jan, one brother, Wray D. Allen, one sister, Betty Dailey Edwards, 6 grandchildren, Trecee Anderson and husband, Stephen, Greg Lee, Melissa Allen, Heather Nokes and husband Mac, Mandy Dumas and husband Robbie, and special granddaughter Julie Bandy Morris and husband Dub, 13 great grandchildren, Brittany (Kallie), Brett (Chelsea), Brayden and Cade Alex, Gracie, Lex, Kaylee, Mason, Nate, Allie, Ansley, McKenzie and Sawyer Lynn to be born in October, 4 great great grandchildren, Braxton, Baylor, Bostyn and Brody and numerous other family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Springhill Medical Center Staff, Magnolia Regional Medical Center, The Springs Magnolia and Encompass Hospice for the love and kindness shown during this time.

Due to COVID-19, private graveside services will be held at 4:00PM Saturday, June 20, 2020, at Stateline Cemetery with Bro. John Nations officiating. Burial is under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.
