Obituary

Barbara grew up in Antioch California, planting roots in Stamps, Arkansas in 2013. She will always be remembered for her fierce sense of humor and having "no filter" when it came to her words. She was loved by so many and will live on in our hearts and memories.

Throughout her life, Barbara enjoyed many different hobbies. A few of her favorites were her trips to the "Boats" in Shreveport, Louisiana with the girls and camping. Her love of camping took her many places but her favorites were Gualala River Redwood Park in California or Lake Degray here in Arkansas. Another very large part of her life were her fur babies. Barbara had a special love for her dogs and they held a very big place in her heart. They were not just an animal to her, they were her family!

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Ana Martinez; her brother, Jeff Martinez; her sister, Lynda Martinez; her grandson, Dustin Glasgow and her granddaughter, Melissa Stuart.

She is survived by her son, Dennis "Pete" Stuart Jr., of Texarkana, Arkansas; two daughters, Andrea Glasgow and spouse Michael Griffin of Bodcaw, Arkansas and Jennifer Redman and spouse Antonio Espinoza of Stamps, Arkansas; three brothers, David "Butch" Martinez and wife Karen and Steve Martinez and wife Nina, all of Antioch, California and Jay Vogelsang of Surprise, Arizona; two sisters, Michelle "Mitzi" Dugan and spouse Paul of Antioch, California and Joan Kohl of Sparks, Nevada; two grandsons, Robert Glasgow Jr., of Bodcaw, Arkansas and Jesse Ward and spouse Taegan of Stamps, Arkansas; two granddaughters Alyssia Avila and spouse Daniel Quick of Stamps, Arkansas and Rebecca Stuart and spouse Bryce Case of Texarkana, Arkansas; two great granddaughters, Addyson and Rowyn Glasgow of Norphlet, Arkansas and many nieces, nephews.

Barbara left us way too soon. She is and will be missed terribly but as she continues to live on in our hearts, SHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!

A memorial will follow at a later date.
