Barbara Jean Morton, age 77 of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Morton was born December 7, 1940 in Lewisville to Narvel and Bernice Allen McDonald. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. An avid gardener who loved her flowers, she also enjoyed bird watching. Spending time at the "Meriwether" lake and traveling were also things she loved doing.

Mrs. Morton was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Morton of Lewisville, AR; two sons, Timothy Keith Morton and wife, Regina and Dickie Morton and wife, Mindy all of Lewisville; daughter, Marcy Teague and husband, Chad of Taylor, AR; sister, Mary Nell Beckham of Stamps, AR; five grandchildren, Keith Morton, Megan Cullipher, Madison Morton, Kiley Teague and Laney Teague; and great grandchild, Wesley Morton. She also leaves behind a very special friend, Becky West.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Allen Morton officiating. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com .
