Becky Nix Smith, age 68, of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Thursday May 2, 2019,  in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Mrs. Smith was born May 19, 1950 in Lewisville, Arkansas to Dayton and Oma (Altom) Nix. She worked for many years at Williamson Pumping Services as a secretary.  Mrs. Smith was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, she loved to serve God, enjoyed playing the piano, and playing rook with many friends.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, William Smith of Stamps, AR; daughter, Janis Lynn Smith of Hope, AR; and sister, Linda Baker of Stamps, AR, and her children, LaDonna Baker of Rogers, AR, and David Baker of Eldorado, AR.

William and Becky had some special people in their lives that they felt were also their children, Staci Emerson, and her children Sydney and Shelby Emerson; Jessica and Michael Carpenter, and their children, DJ and Conner Carpenter; Nicole McClure, and her son, Hudson McGuire; Jimmie and Tim Rutledge, and their children, Hannah Nuckles, and Haley and Hayden Little; and Brittney Loe.

Mrs. Smith is also survived by many friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Saturday, May 4, 2019, at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, on Thomas Street, in Stamps, AR. Funeral Services will on Sunday, May 5, 2019, 2:00pm, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Bo Murphy Officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery, near Stamps, AR, under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR.
