Benny Hays, 87, of Bradley, Arkansas passed away April 20, 2025, at his residence. He was born September 23, 1937, in Plain Dealing, Louisiana, to Benjamin and Addie Hays. Benny was a Member of Bradley Baptist Church and was a farmer. Benny served the country as a United States Marine. He was a man that truly loved God and his country. He was very patriotic, devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Benny enjoyed NFL football and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Addie Hays; wife, Wanda Marie (Spruell) Hays; brothers, Arthur Hays, Leroy Hays and Bill Hays.

Left to cherish the memories of Benny are son, Glenn Hays (Kelli) of  Bradley, Arkansas; daughters, Connie Godfrey (Joseph) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Lisa Dollar (Mark) of West Monroe, Louisiana; brother, Milton Hays of Plain Dealing, Louisiana; sister, Audrey Hamiter of Bossier City, Louisiana; grandchildren, Ryan Hays (Katy) of Bradley, Arkansas, Reid Hays (Abby) of Bradley, Arkansas, Patrick Godfrey of Nashville, Tennessee, Andrew Dollar of Bossier City, Louisiana, Bailey Poindexter (Jeremy) of Gallatin, Tennessee, and Lauren Dollar, of West Monroe, Louisiana; great grandchildren, Kinley Hays, Luke Hays and Walker Hays.

Pall bearers are Ryan Hays, Reid Hays, Jake Howell, Mark Dollar, Jeremy Poindexter, and Andrew Dollar. Honorary pall bearers are Milton Hays and Ricky Hays.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 11:00 am at Walnut Hill Cemetery, with Brother Tommy Weems officiating. Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital For Children.
