Betty Jean Clark, age 75 of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015 at her home after a lengthy illness with her family by her side. She was born August 8, 1939 in Springhill, Arkansas. Mrs. Clark was a very caring person. She loved all her girls and they all loved her and looked to her for advice, even during her illness.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her parents; George and Brooksie Foster; first husband, Vincent Turnipseed; and brother, Jessie Foster.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Ray Clark of Lewisville, AR; five daughters, Larinda Lee and husband, Jack of Lewisville, AR; Jackie Eads and husband, Donald of Magnolia, AR; Dana Carey and husband, Doug of Pensacola, FL; Tammy Eachers and husband, Ricky of Prescott, AR; and Brett Nolte and husband, Brian of Texarkana, AR; one step-daughter, Ginna Kay Alford and husband, Harlon of Heber Springs, AR; two sisters, Connie Nations of Hope, AR, and Judy Sloan of Prescott, AZ; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Kenneth Bobo officiating. Interment will follow at Knighton's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's or Knighton's Chapel Cemetery.
