Betty Carolyn Martin of Willisville, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016. Mrs. Martin was born December 6, 1941 to the late Tommy and Latance Wood Culpepper. She retired from the Alan White Furniture Company in 1996. She was a member of Whites Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston, Arkansas.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Laura Martin; granddaughter, Christina Carolyn Patterson; and brother, Ronnie Wood.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Brewin "B.R." Martin; two sons, Steve Martin and wife, Elizabeth and Todd Martin and Marsha Henderson; three grandchildren, Taria Tippins, Brooks Martin, and Jessica Paull; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Gurvis Wood and wife, Martha and Michael Wood; step-father, Grandy Culpepper; and nephews, Tommy Wood, Mike Martin, David Wood, and Jason Wood.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10am Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Whites Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston, AR with Pastor Jerry Evans officiating. Arrangements were made by Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Online registration is available at www.aosmithfuneralhome.com.
