Mrs. Betty J. Patten, 91, of Lewisville, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.  She was born in Hope, Arkansas, on November 3, 1932, to Jeff and Georgia (Maroon) Gilbert. She was an owner of a Resale Shop in Lewisville for 18 years;. Betty was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #328 in Hope, Arkansas that later merged with Eastern Star #378 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas;  she served on the Lewisville City Council for 12 years; and was a member of the Lewisville Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Patten, Mother and Father, five brothers and one nephew. She is survived by her son Philip Patten of Little Rock, AR and several Nephew and Nieces.

Private grave service will be at the Wilson Cemetery with family members and Order of the Easter Star.

Services are under the direction of A O Smith funeral home, Stamps,  Arkansas.
