Betty L. Powell, 80, of Doddridge, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021. She was born December 25, 1940 in Stamps, Arkansas to Milton Woodell and Jessie Williams Woodell. Betty enjoyed playing Bingo, Dominos, fishing and hunting. She was a volunteer fire fighter for Doddridge for many years. Betty was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royce Powell and sister, Ida Mae Hodge.

She is survived by three sons, Eugene Powell and wife, Lisa of Bloomburg, TX, Patrick Powell and wife, Tracy of Texarkana, AR, and Anthony Powell and wife, Charis of Linden, TX; two daughters, Elizabeth Hatos and husband, Jeffery of Texarkana, AR, Juanita Coleman and Michael of Fulton, AR; two brothers, Amos Woodell of Texarkana, AR and Edwards Woodelll of Hot Springs, AR; twelve grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Andy Coleman, Justin Powell, Derek Eaglebarger, Patrick Powell, Anthony Powell and Eugene Powell.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at 2:00P.M at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps. Interment will follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery in Patmos, AR. Visitation will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the Chapel from 5:00P.M.-7:00P.M.
