Obituary

Billy Fayon Nations, age 90, of Conway, Arkansas, passed from this life on February 19, 2023. He was born on August 24, 1932, to Walter Edward Nations and Lillie (Bailey) Nations in Magnolia, Arkansas. Mr. Nations enjoyed playing dominos and listening to a variety of music that included country, bluegrass, and gospel music. He enjoyed deer hunting as well as bird hunting. One of his passions was being an avid El Camino enthusiast.  He attended church in Texarkana at Cornerstone Baptist Church.

Mr. Nations was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Edward and Lillie Nations; his wife, Patsy Ann Nations; Brothers, Jerry Nations, Joe Nations, Dewayne Nations and Jimmy Nations; Sisters, Lanoma Gibson, Lucine Morris, and Marjorie Benefield.

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Nations of Conway, Arkansas; two sons, Billy G. Nations (Darice) of Washington, Arkansas; Christopher Nations (Melissa) of Frisco, Texas; a sister, Patricia Nations Purtle of Prescott, Arkansas; sister-in-law Jerrie Cannon of Ashdown, Arkansas; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023,at 2:00 p.m. at Taylor Memorial Cemetery in Taylor, Arkansas with Brother David Holder and Brother Justin King officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas.
