Birdie Bell Yarbrough, age 74, of Mabelvale AR. passed away November 24, 2020 in Little Rock, AR. She was born July, 12 1946 in Washington, AR to James and Velmer Patton. She enjoyed photography, hunting, fishing and a good prank on her family. She also won over 600 ribbons for her canning and plants.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Chris Yarbrough and John W. Ramsey and one brother Robert Batchlor.

Birdie is survived by her husband of 58 years, Edward Yarbrough. Three sons: Dale F. Yarbrough and wife Leigh Dawn of Little Rock, AR. Elvis Yarbrough and wife Tira of Greenbrier, AR. and Michael Yarbrough and wife Andrea of Mabelvale. One daughter: Brenda Bailey and husband Gary of Point, TX. One Stepson Dale Yarbrough Jr of Pennsylvania and one stepdaughter Audrey Thompson of Dumas, AR. One brother: James "Preacher" Patton and three sisters: Freddy Tackett of North Little Rock, AR. Betty Miller and Molly Sewell, both of Hope, AR. 18 Grandchildren, 18 Great-grandchildren and one Great-great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Washington Baptist Church in Old Washington AR. Burial will be at Moonshine Cemetery at deer camp under direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm at the Church.

Directions to church: Take Hwy 278 from I-30 Hope exit 30 to Washington. As soon as you come into Washington, passing the historic district, the church is on the right in the curve.
