Bobby Wayne Daugherty, 81, of Livingston, Texas went to be with Jesus on January 9, 2021. Bobby was born October 28, 1939 in Canfield, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Dale Daugherty and Minnie Daugherty; three brothers, Jimmie, Gale and Glen; and one sister, Dorothy Ward all of Arkansas.

Bobby is survived by two sons, Russell Daugherty and wife, Sharon of Livingston and Robert Daugherty and wife, Laura of Cypress, TX; two daughters, Terrie Jordan of Louisiana and Melinda Tamez and husband, Freddie of Cypress, TX; grandsons, John Jordan and Danny Jordan; granddaughter, Shari Lindsay; great grandsons, Taegan Lindsay; and great granddaughters, Katie Jordan and Bowie Hartman. He will be missed by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

He was a self-made man who started and was successful at several businesses. He loved his family and always tried to take care of them. Bobby loved to travel. His most talked about trip was to the Holy Land where he walked the path Jesus walked to be crucified on the cross. He also visited Germany, Hawaii, Cayman Islands and Las Vegas. Bobby loved the Lord and spoke of Him often.

A graveside service will be at 2PM, Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 12PM-1:30PM at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel before the service.
