Bobby Rogers Stevens Sr., 91 of Dangerfield, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. He was born March 3, 1932, in Stamps, Arkansas to Robert Emmet and Effie Rogers Stevens. Bobby attended the University of Arkansas and gained a bachelor's degree in engineering and was a member of the United States Army. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and a roll model for many others.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Virginia Smith Stevens of Dangerfield, Texas; four daughters, Suzanne Sims (Mike) of Waco, Texas, Lisa Locke (Larry) of Waco, Texas, Dede Moore (Bryan) of Waco, Texas, and Ginger Rowe (Scott) of Crawford, Texas; one son, Bobby "Bo" Stevens Jr. (Tonya) of Dangerfield, Texas; fourteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; two sister in laws, Corrine Wheelington (LeRoy) of Texarkana, Arkansas and Martha Ford (Mike) of Magnolia, Arkansas and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Dangerfield, Texas under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Dangerfield, Texas.

Interment will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps, Arkansas with a visitation from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas.
