Brenda Ann Hood, age 57 of Bossier City, Louisiana, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016. She had been a resident of the Northwest State School in Bossier City for many years. She was born July 19, 1958 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Charles Hood and Margaret Moore Culland. Brenda loved to listen to music and will always be remembered for her contagious smile. She still had baby soft skin and no gray hair.

Brenda was preceded in death by her brother, Jason Wayne Culland; step-father, Wayne Culland; and grandparents, Chester and Naomi Moore.

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Culland of Taylor, AR; sister, Judy Kay Hood of Ruskin, FL; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 10am Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Forest Grove Baptist Church in Taylor, AR with Bro. Todd Pickard officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR.
