Callie Fern Bledsoe, 82, of Texarkana, Arkansas, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022. She was born on August 25, 1940 in Nashville, Arkansas to Connie Monroe Townsend and Ethel Mae (Henderson) Townsend. Callie was a member of the South Texarkana Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting angels, working in her puzzle books. Callie enjoyed reading and going to the Quintana County Beach. One of her favorite places to go out to eat was to North Shores to eat catfish. One of Callie's greatest pleasures in life was to love and spoil her grandchildren.

Callie is preceded in death by her parents; her spouse, William Bledsoe; her twin daughters, Karen and Sharon Bledsoe; one brother, Buddy Townsend; two sisters, Fay Eachers and Eileen Townsend.

She is survived by one son, Archie Bledsoe (Susan) of Texarkana, Texas; one sister, Helen Jones of Sunnyvale, Texas; Five grandchildren, Dusty Bledsoe, Dustin Smith, Johanna Villarell, Brittanie Watson and Isabella Bledsoe; two great grandchildren, Emma Smith, Ramsey Watson and one great grandchild, baby Smith, due in April; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at A.O. Smith Funeral Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas with Brother Oscar Rodriquez, and Brother Gerald Wagstaff officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Texarkana, Arkansas. Visitation will be Sunday September 18, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas.
