Carl Simon, 68, of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away at St. Micaels's Hospital in Texarkana and went to be with the Lord completely healed on Monday, October 5, 2026, Carl was born August 28, 1958, in Zwolle, Louisiana to Janice and Thomas Simon. He graduated from Louisiana Tech University, where he earned a history degree and later attended Southern Arkansas University and earned a degree in computer science. Carl was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Stamps. He enjoyed reading, playing games on his phone, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his wife of 29 years, Linda.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, Thomas Simon, one brother Timothy Simon.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Goodwin Simon of Lewisville, Arkansas. His mother, Janice Simon of Carthage, Texas. Three brothers, Tom Simon (Stacy) of Rowlett, Texas, Michael Simon (Tracy) of Carthage, Texas and Robert Simon (Kim) of Benton, Louisiana. Two sisters, Lisa Robinson of Carthage, Texas and Jennifer Pinkasavage (Rob) of Tombal, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
