Charlene Alexander, age 82, of Stamps, Arkansas
passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 in a local hospital. She was born on May 11,
1931 in Lewisville, Arkansas to Olaf and Clara Douglas Buchanan. Mrs. Alexander
was a member of the Stamps Church of Christ.



She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of
fifty-nine years Charles Ray Alexander; and a brother Wayne Buchanan.



She is survived by a daughter Brenda Force and
husband Freeman of Stamps; son Don Alexander and wife Tina of Prescott;
Grandchildren Charles and Regina, Chris, Lacie and Dusty, Brooke and Jeremy,
Donald Ray, Cody, Zoe, and Baker; Great-grandchildren Alisha, Morgan and
Channing, Landon, Caleb, Peyton, Channing F., and Cylas; Great-great-grandchild
Faithlyn; Sisters-in-law Mary Buchanan and Ruth Welch.



Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March
10, 2014 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Tom Hooten and
Bro. Jamie Knighton officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis cemetery in
Stamps under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held
from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the funeral home. Online registration is
