Charles Malcolm Barrington, 90, of Plain Dealing, Louisiana passed away May 2, 2023, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born November 7, 1932, in Doddridge, Arkansas to Charles Chester and Frances Riley Barrington. Malcolm was a heavy equipment operator, a member of the United States Army and served during the Korean War and was a member and Pastor of Evergreen Baptist Church in Doddridge, Arkansas for over thirty years.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Clifford Barrington of Blanchard, Louisiana and Tommy Lindsay of Opelousas, Louisiana. One daughter, Delaris Noble of Shreveport, Louisiana. One brother, Marvin Barrington (Phyllis) of Texarkana, Arkansas. Two sisters, Evelyn Jernigan of John Day, Oregon and Dorothy Pearson of Pace, Florida, he is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services will be held 2P.M. Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Doddridge, Arkansas.
