Charles "Snoop" Burks 63, of Lewisville, AR died Wednesday. August 24, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Burks was born on May 22, 1953 in Lewisville, AR . He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Mariah Burks; one sister Bernice Sawyer, two brothers Willie and Johnny Burks.

Survivors include one son Robert Burks of Glenn Heights, TX; one daughter Tamika Willis of Nash, TX; four sisters Willie Mae Pree of Lewisville, AR, Augustine Martin, Hazel McCullough, Dollie Williams of Detroit, MI; six brothers J. T. Burks of Ft. Wayne, IN, Rev. James Burks of Springfield, OH, Melvin Burks of Ypsilanti, MI, Clarence Burks of Texarkana, TX, Richard Burks of Prescott, AR, Henry Burks of St. Louis, MO; two granddaughters and two grandsons and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3,2016 at 11 a.m. at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. James Burks officiating. Burial will be at Boyd Hill Cemetery under the direction of A. O. Smith Funeral Home.
