Charles Wayne Goodwin, age 68, of Taylor, AR, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at his home.
Charles was born on June 16, 1954, in Springhill, Louisiana, to James and Mary Goodwin. He was a life-long resident of the Walkers Creek Community, where he was taught how to hunt, fish, and garden at an early age by his daddy. He passed his love for the outdoors to his son, Brian, and grandsons, Brodie, and Eli. But his favorite thing to do was to ride his Harley with the love of his life, Mary, behind him.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert "Rob" Goodwin; father and mother-in-law, Joe Juckett and Margie.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary; son, Brian Goodwin and Krystal of Magnolia, AR; grandsons, Brodie and Eli; Brother, Andy Goodwin and Sheryl of Taylor, AR; sister, Linda Elledge and Lynn of Taylor, AR; sister-in-law, Sherri Dluzak and Roger of Springhill, LA; brother-in-law, Jimmy Juckett of Springhill, LA; brother-in-law, Billy Juckett, of North Little Rock, AR; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Joseph Stacks officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Walker Creek, AR under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 beginning at 12:30 P.M., prior to the service.

Honoring Charles, as his pall bearers will be Jim Bland, Rick Bland, Wayne Halbert, Matt Ferguson, Mark Tozer, and Cody Goodwin.
