Charles Wesley Taylor, 86, of Taylor, Arkansas passed from this life on December 1, 2022, at Overton Brooks VA Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. Wesley was born on November 8,1936 to Charles Delmage Taylor Sr. and Roby Lee (Keith) Taylor. Wesley was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in the position of military policeman for his country. He faithfully served 50 years as a member of the Hughey Lodge #70 FA&M. Working many years of his civilian life as a plant manager for Stauffer Chemical Company. Among many journeys in life, he worked in construction as well. Wesley enjoyed playing his guitar, enjoying music and playing his guitar in church. One of Wesley's life's passions was being a private pilot, his love for the single engine planes was a must. One thing of interest you could find him doing often was watching the news on the internet and a good discussion of politics was a conversation to brighten his day.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Delmage Taylor Sr. and Roby Lee (Keith) Taylor; one son, Kerry Taylor; one brother, Charles Delmage Taylor, Jr.; two sisters, Irma Lee Bissell and Judy Taylor.

Left to cherish his memory is a son, Greg Taylor of Taylor, Arkansas; a daughter, Kim Hart (Perry) of Rodessa, Louisiana; one brother, Paul Taylor of Walker Creek, Arkansas; two sisters, Liz (Phil) Creech of Stamps, Arkansas and Doris (Lamar) Caswell of Baker, Florida; eight grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Smith Funeral Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas with Bro. Scott Jackson officiating, assisted by Bro. Perry Hart, under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas.
