Charlotte S. Britt, age 72 of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016. Mrs. Britt was born August 4, 1943 in Magnolia, Arkansas to Chester and Gladys Mae Simmons. She was of the Baptist faith and loved spending time with her beloved pets, C.J. and Prissy. She enjoyed going to Deborah and Mike Dees' house on Sunday for lunch and family time. Mrs. Britt also enjoyed visiting with her great grandchildren and enjoyed visits from family and friends. She loved spending time with Bridgette and shoe shopping which was a passion of hers. She will be dearly missed by friends and family. Mrs. Britt was the owner of C & R Grocery Store in Taylor for many years.

Mrs. Britt was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Randall Britt, husband, Jewel Lee Tatom, sons, Randall Wayne Britt and Robert Charles Britt; and one brother.

She is survived by her daughter/granddaughter, Bridgette Lynett Britt and fiancé, Cody Troquille of Taylor, AR; granddaughter, Misty Kneeland and husband, Chad of El Dorado, AR; two grandsons, Dusty Britt of Taylor, AR and Shay Lewis of Cotton Valley, LA; seven great grandchildren; and close friends, Ann Benefield and Richard Glasscock, Bobby Fields and Michael Mires.

Funeral Services will be held at 3pm Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Taylor, AR with Dr. Randy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery.
