Claude Rowe, 77, of Bradley, Arkansas passed away July 23, 2020. He was born January 2, 1943 in Glena Park, TX to James and Mamie Weaver Rowe. Mr. Rowe enjoyed the outdoors; he loved hunting for whitetail and mule deer, fishing, raising cattle, camping, looking for arrowheads in the mountains and fields and wrestling. He proudly served his county for 8 years as a United States Marine. He retired as the Public Works Director of Bossier Parrish after 28 years of service to the Citizens of Bossier Parrish.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Morris Eugene Rowe.
Claude is survived by his wife, Patty Rowe; two sons, Phillip David Rowe and wife, Regina and Mark Edward Rowe and wife, Rhonda all of Plain Dealing, LA; brother, James Robert Rowe and wife, Gloria of Ashdown, AR; sister, Helen Janice Brumley and husband, Dean of Longview, TX; three grandchildren, Brandy Jusma and husband, Sean, Katlyn Cooper and husband, Colten and Hunter Rowe; two great grandchildren Aiden and Bryson Jusma and his right hand man, Lang Edward Vowell.
A graveside service will be held at 2PM, Monday, July 27, 2020 at Walnut Hill Cemetery with Mark Warke officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes. Visitation will be held 10AM-1PM, Monday at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Bradley.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Dan Burns, Robert Russell, Bruce Hammitter, Terry Wilson, and Roger Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Byrd, Don Lalonde, and Johnny Wilkins.
