CLAUDIA "DOODLE" MARION CUMMINGS

Claudia "Doodle" Marion Cummings, age 91 of Buckner, Arkansas, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017. Mrs. Cummings was born May 26, 1925 in Patmos, Arkansas to Minnie and Charles Lewis, Sr. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, fishing, riding her lawn mower, and playing bingo. She and her husband owned and operated Harold's Chainsaw Service and partnered with Jerry Cox in operating C&C Trucking and Equipment, Inc.

Mrs. Cummings was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold L. Cummings; one brother; and three sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Cox and husband, Jerry of Buckner, AR and Penny Plafcan and husband, Jerry of Buckner, AR; five grandchildren, Camille Barton and husband, Jeff, Stacy Cox, Alex Plafcan and wife, Stephanie, Rachel Plafcan, and Austin Plafcan; six great grandchildren, Brittany Reeves, Jonathon Barton, Ashley Edmonson, Cole Scott, Kaleigh Williams, and JyKaiden Williams; four great-great grandchildren, Raegan and Rylee Reeves; and Bodie and Trax Barton; special niece, Nancy Ruth Grimmett; and special nephew, Winston Lewis.

Funeral Services will be held at 3pm Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Charlie Warren officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Stamps. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Smith Funeral Home.
