Corine Roy Zackery, age 70, died Monday, February 12, 2018 at her residence in Cotton Belt Community-Waldo, AR. She was born November 21, 1947 to the late Robert Roy, Jr. and Arlene Madison.

She attended Westside High School, Waldo, AR. She graduated in 1965. She attended UAPB from 1966-1967. In 1968, she was united in Holy Matrimony, to her husband Richard Zackery, to this union five children were born. She was employed at Alan White & Company in Stamps, AR for 33 years. She was a hard worker who loved her family. She attended Westside Church of Christ at an early age under the leadership of Bro. Ernest Carter, Sr. She and her husband served at Rosston Road COC for 9 years, from there to Church AVE COC, Haynesville, LA. She was a great help to her husband. She served as Sunday school teacher and Ladies Bible Class teacher. She loved working for the Lord, and was faithful until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Roy, Jr. and step-mother Ida Ransom; two sisters, Tammy Roy and Patricia Roy; son, Greg Zackery, Sr. and grandson, Desmond Robinson.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Richard Zackery of 49 years, three sons, Gardner Zackery of Conway, AR, Kelcey Zackery(Angela)of Killeen, TX, Cedric Zackery(Brittney) of Houston, TX; one daughter, Keisha Robinson of Magnolia, AR; her mother Arlene Madison of Waldo, AR; 2 brothers, Kenneth Young(Delois) and Torrance Sanders(Sophia) of Waldo, AR; one sister, Margie Chappell-Standoak of Waldo, AR; fourteen Grands and 15 Great-Grandchildren. A special cousin/sister Lorene Williams of Muskegon, MI, and a play son, Lawrence Lee of Waldo, AR. She also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 16, 2018 at Smith Funeral Home from 11 - 4:30.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Westside Church of Christ in Waldo, AR at 2 p.m. with Bro. Richard Zackery officiating. Burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Waldo, AR under the direction of Smith Funeral Home of Stamps- 415 East First Street.
