Curtis Johnson 64, of Taylor, AR died Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at V A Hospital in Shreveport, LA. He was born January 16, 1952 in Taylor, AR to Harold, Jr. and Theester Willis Johnson. He was preceded in death by both parents and brother Calvin Johnson.

Curtis graduated from Walker High School in Magnolia, AR and shortly after completing high school, served in the Army for multiple years.

Curtis was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. His sense of humor was one of his many memorable attributes.

For the past several years, Curtis has resided in Taylor, AR.

Curtis will forever be remembered by his children; Stephen Robinson, Rosalind Robinson, Tina Johnson, Michael Robinson, Rodric Robinson of Springhill, LA, Dominic Hardin, Tony Lawson of Taylor, AR,and Lori Lawson of Hope, AR; Seventeen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, Harold (Rose) Johnson III and Robert (Lou Della) Johnson both of Taylor, AR; two sisters, Dorothy (Malvin) Lindsey of Magnolia, AR and Sophia (William) Kellum of Chicago, IL; two aunts, Rosetta Williams of Dallas, TX and Bertha Barrow of Magnolia, AR; three uncles Bobby Ray (Dorothy) Johnson of Maywood, IL, Charles (Francis) Johnson of Summit, IL and Larry (Lalar) Johnson of Berkeley IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, family and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 2p.m.at St. Paul Baptist Church in Taylor, AR with Rev. Terry Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday, September 2, 2016, 11a.m. until 4 p.m.
