David Bennett, 65, of Stamps, Arkansas went to be with his heavenly father on Thursday, December 25, 2014 in Magnolia, Arkansas. He was born September 5, 1949 in Asheville, North Carolina to Frank and Agnes (Morgan) Bennett.

He was a Vietnam Veteran and worked as an auto mechanic and was known as one of the best auto body repairmen in this area.
When he wasn't working he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, Ricky. His mother-In-law, Mae Bell Aydelott and father-In-law, Eugene Smith also preceded him in death.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Catherine of the home, Three sons, Specialist Robert Bennett of Fort Bliss, Texas, Robin Cruse of Stamps and Johnathan Cruse of Stamps. One daughter, Madinia Sharp and Husband Michael of Nashville, Arkansas also survive him. Eight grandchildren will remember their grandfather fondly. He will be missed by all that shared in his life.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Presbyterian Church in Stamps with Rev. Dana Casey officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the funeral home in Stamps.
