Dee Lois Dickson, 89, of Magnolia, formerly of Stamps, passed away peacefully
on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Hospice Home Care of Arkansas in Little
Rock. Although her time at HHC was only eight days, the family will long
remember the compassionate care offered by the dedicated staff, as well as the
welcoming atmosphere.

Born January 15, 1936, Dee Lois was the only child of Terrell and Loraine
Hazlett. After graduating from Stamps High School in 1954, she married her true
love, Charles A. Dickson, in 1955. Together, they shared a wonderful life.

In her early years, Dee Lois was a receptionist at Galloway Insurance Company
in Stamps, and for many decades thereafter, she was a homemaker. She
enjoyed preparing large, delicious meals for her family and, like Charles, she
enjoyed being involved in numerous church activities. She delighted in playing in
the handbell choir, especially during the Christmas season, organizing the puppet
ministry, and helping Charles with the annual church fish fry.

In 2018, Dee Lois moved to Dudneywood Assisted Living in Magnolia, and there
she developed a wonderful second family. A very heartfelt thanks is extended to
the employees of Dudneywood for their extreme kindness and continual
patience.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons or, in her words, her boys, Terry
(Sheila) Dickson of Stamps and Kelly (Deborah) Dickson of Little Rock; her four
grandchildren, Keith Dickson of Maumelle, Katie (Rob) DuPuy of Maumelle, Tyler
(Adeline) Dickson of Rogers, and Baxter Dickson of Benton; and her two great
grandsons, Reid and Neil DuPuy of Maumelle. Other very dear family members
are Sid and Ann Dickson of Stamps and Ginger Nix of Buckner.

Dee Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 2006, leaving a void
that could never be filled; her parents, Terrell and Loraine Hazlett; her
mother-in-law, Ura Dickson; and her two brothers-in-law, Dr. D. Bud Dickson and
Manuel Nix.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 2:00 p..m. to
3:00 p.m. at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps. Friends and extended
family are invited to visit during this time and share special memories. Then, at

3:00 p.m., a memorial service will be held in the chapel with Bro. Clay Dickson
officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.
