Delliah Jones Cleveland, 81, of Lewisville, Arkansas went to Heaven on Monday, September 12, 2022, in Plano, Texas. She was born September 7, 1941, in Lewisville, Arkansas to A.P. and Cephia Angel Jones. She was a Beautician for over forty years in Stamps, Arkansas and later in the Shreveport-Bossier City, Louisiana area. She loved to cook and was one of the best bakers around. Her Italian Cream Cake was one that everyone always rushed to get a slice of at family and Church gatherings. She and her husband Charles always loved gardening vegetables and their yards were the envy of the neighborhood. She loved her family and also had many friends in the area.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Edwin Cleveland; her brother, Frederick Jones and one sister, Joann Jones Sutton.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Renea Cleveland Russell and husband, Robert; son, Charles Kevin Cleveland and wife, Pam; sister, Brenda Jones Beene; four grandchildren, Amelia Angel Russell of Alexandria, LA, Clancey Kyle Cleveland and wife, Becky of Prescott, AR, Luke Austin Russell of Hot Springs, AR, and Hannah Darlene Antley and husband, Shane of Emmet, AR; 3 great grandchildren, Paul Antley, Brennan Smith, and Paden Cleveland. A fourth great grandson is expected in April of 2023. She will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews who loved her. Ms. Cleveland is also survived by a special group of people in her life the last three years, Herschel Kitchens and his family.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at 2:00P.M at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Bo Murphy officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00P.M.
