Dianne Pickett, age 64, of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at her home. Mrs. Pickett was born October 17, 1949, in Magnolia, Arkansas, to Harold and Erma Griffin. She enjoyed her daily walks, camping on the Cossatot River, playing dominoes, and taking the grandchildren on adventures.

Mrs. Pickett was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of forty-seven years, David Ray Pickett of Taylor, AR; three daughters, Renae Strong of Haughton, LA, Becky Harp of Lufkin, TX, and Melanie Reed and husband Ryan of Texarkana, TX; honorary daughter, Shannon Huffstetler; two brothers, Wayne Griffin of Garland, TX and Kerry Griffin of Bussey, AR; two sisters, Margie Myers of Blanchard, LA and Bobbie Reynolds of Buffalo, TX; and seven grandchildren, John Anagnostopulos, Jordan Long, Jared Farrell, Emily Farrell, Joshua Long, Luke Reed, and Lily Reed.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 24, 2014, at Beacon Baptist Church in Bussey, AR, with Bro. Kerry Easley officiating under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Interment will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery in Taylor. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Beacon Baptist Church.
