Don D. Kennedy, age 78, of Lewisville, AR passed away April 5, 2020 at his home. Don was born August 3, 1941 at Old English Community near DeKalb TX.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Kennedy of Lewisville; his parents, Chester and Christine Kennedy of DeKalb, TX; one brother, Gary Kennedy of DeKalb, TX; and one sister Cecelia McCort of New Boston, TX.

Don is survived by his two daughters Donna Brown and Regina Clark of Lewisville, AR; one son Jeff Kennedy of Ashdown, AR; one step-son, Scott Jackson of Lewisville, AR; two brothers Charles Kennedy and his wife Elaine of Onalaska, TX and Chester Kennedy of Nash, TX. Don had six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Don was retired from Southern Bakeries in Hope, AR. He loved his family and his country, The United States of America.

Graveside services will be held 2pm Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville with Reverend Scott Jackson officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.

The book will be available to sign from 8am until 1pm Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
