Donald Wayne Helms, 80, of Lewisville, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 3, 2023, in Lewisville. He was born November 8, 1942, to Irwin and Ima Loyce Helms in Lewisville, Arkansas. Don owned and operated Dons Quick Stop in Lewisville for many years, until he retired. He enjoyed cutting firewood, keeping his yard clean, going to car shows, but mostly, he loved spending time with his family.

Don was preceded in death by his Parents and two great grandchildren, Donald Blain and Robert Reed Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Helms. One son Gary Helms (Glenda) of Texarkana, Arkansas. One daughter, Donna Lambdin (Jon) of Columbia, South Carolina. Seven grandchildren, Philip Helms (April) of Bradley, Arkansas, Heather Turner (Curtis) of Benton, Louisiana, Sharon Allen (Greg) of Ashdown, Arkansas, Hillary Whittington of Lexington, South Carolina, Gina Perez (Ray) of Texarkana, Texas, Lori Reed (Bobby) of Columbia, South Carolina and Jared Gazzolo (Brittany) of New Boston, Texas. Sixteen Great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. Brother and sister-in-law Pat and Lindy Powell, brother-in-law Burnice Powell and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
