Donald Wayne Taylor, 82, of Humble, Texas passed away on October 19, 2021. Don was born in Stamps, Arkansas on March 24, 1939 to Evelyn Price Taylor and Woodrow Winfred (W. W.) Taylor. Don enjoyed good conversation and LSU football.

He was preceded in death by his parents. His wife of 50 years, Patricia Fay Taylor. And his son Donald Robert Taylor.

He is survived by daughter Ellen Bovey, son-in-law Jon Bovey and their children, Catie, Noah, Allie, Nathanael and Jonathan; brother Randy Taylor and his wife Mary, brother Mike Taylor and his wife Pam, and brother Bill Taylor.

Don graduated from LSU as a petroleum engineer. He began his career with Union Oil in Lafayette, LA., later moved to Humble, TX., where he worked for a variety of other companies and ended his career by teaching well control school. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church Humble, TX. Don was a determined person who loved the Lord and his family.

Graveside services will be held 2P.M. Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Shiloh Cemetery in Buckner, AR. with Bro. Chris Beshea officiating under direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home.
