Doris Faye Goodwin, 90, of Stamps, Arkansas, entered her Heavenly Home on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Doris was born on January 18, 1936, in Waldo, Arkansas to Charlie and Thelma Vines. She was a true legendary figure in the little town of Stamps and will be missed by so many. She was a member of the Stamps First Baptist Church and loved her Lord dearly. Doris enjoyed babysitting children and it showed by her devotion to working in the nursery of First Baptist for over 60 years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Thelma Vines; husband, James Goodwin; daughter in law, Kay Goodwin; granddaughter, Kasey Goodwin; and her brother, Charles Vines.

Carrying on the legacy of Doris will be her devoted son, Charlie Goodwin of Stamps, Arkansas.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Jeff Black, Terry Dickson, Danny Ormand, Josh Ormand, Brady Gore, and Tate Gore. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Nutt, Joe Burns, Danny Fitzpatrick, Mike Rowe and Chuck Teague.

There will be a visitation held at A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at First Baptist Church, Stamps, Arkansas at 10:00 am with Bro. Mike Turner officiating, interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
