Dorothy Lanell Butler, 77, of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. She was born on October 25, 1946, in Magnolia, Arkansas to Arlis and Ida Mae Lee. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, painting, cooking, and doing things for others. Dorothy loved being with her family and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Arlis and Ida Mae Lee; spouse, Gary Wayne Butler; and two sisters, Wanda Hurd and Vickie Gaines.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Quinna Clark (Phillip) of Lewisville, Arkansas and Gina Dillon (Jimmy Wayne) of Sarepta, Louisiana; three sisters, Bonnie House (Ed) of Camden, Arkansas, Mary Lee of Waldo, Arkansas and Sara Watson (Talmadge) of Waldo, Arkansas; Brother-in-law, Cecil Gaines; seven grandchildren, Shawn W. Silvers and Destin Silvers of El Dorado, Arkansas, Brayden Dillon of Sarepta, Louisiana, Jesslyn Yawn of El Dorado, Arkansas, Heather Huckabee of Hope, Arkansas,  Chasity Klutts and Ashley Allen of Lewisville, Arkansas; seven great grandchildren, Michael Flournoy, Taylor Flournoy, Braylen Hurd, Carson Allen, Jett Klutts, Lorelei Snyder, and Remington Yawn; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Antioch East Cemetery, Magnolia, Arkansas with Bro. Jeremy Langley officiating.

Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas.
