Dorothy Mae Hudgens, 87, of Stamps, Arkansas, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on December 20, 2023. She was born to Marion and Grace Daughtery in Stamps, Arkansas on January 21, 1936.

Preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Grace Daughtery; spouse, Herman Hudgens; son, Dale Benefield; brother, Bobby Ray Daughtery; granddaughter, Brandy Vickers; and niece, Casey Walker.

Left to cherish Dorothy's memory are her daughter, Anita Plumley (Gary) of Stamps, Arkansas; sister, Linda Smith (Gene) of Russellville, Arkansas; brother, Jerry Daughtery (Peggy) of Batesville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Rose, Colt, Brendan, Christopher, Michael, and Stacy;  great grandchildren Ana, Christian, and Nicole; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Sardis Cemetery, Stamps, Arkansas, with Bro. John Force officiating. Services are under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, Arkansas.
