Dorothy P. Mitchell, age 92 of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 15, 2018. Mrs. Mitchell was born January 7, 1926 in Stamps to George and Koka Blankenship. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James H. Mitchell; and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by one daughter, Martha Johnson and husband, Junior of Stamps, AR; two grandsons, Chad Austin Johnson and wife, Brittany of Hot Springs, AR and Christopher Alexander Johnson and wife, Bridget of Austin, TX; and four great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, AR with Bro. Dennis Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery.
