Dorothy Evelyn Patterson, age 101, passed away on March 7, 2023 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Ms. Patterson was born to Leslie Lundy and Nannie (Wood) Lundy in Miller County Arkansas on November 27, 1921. She enjoyed cooking and growing her flowers and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Nannie Lundy; her spouse, Coy C. Patterson; daughters, Bobbie Todd and JoAnn Murtishaw; a son, Jerry Wood Cheek; and a brother, Charles Lundy.

Left to cherish the memory of Ms. Patterson is her grandchildren, Jerry Cheek (Genia) of Texarkana, Texas; Linda Doss (Chuck) of Atlanta, Texas; Wayne Lear (Tonya) of Atlanta, Texas; Charlie Lear (Debbie) of Rodessa, Louisiana; Renee Rothenberger (Bobby) of Benton, Lousiana; Joy Cornett of Atlanta, Texas; twenty-three great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Olive Branch United Methodist Church in Doddridge, Arkansas with Bro. Walt Barnett officiating under the direction of A O Smith Funeral Home of Stamps, Arkansas. Interment to follow at Olive Branch Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at A O Smith Funeral Home in Stamps, Arkansas.
