Dorothy Frances Strange, 87, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away on April 20, 2021 in Springhill, Louisiana. She was born in Lewisville, Arkansas on October 23, 1933 to Owen and Bessie Barmes Hurd. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church of Lewisville, Arkansas and longtime employee of Lester Grocery Store. Dorothy loved fishing, hunting and collecting coins and helping preserve the history of Lafayette County.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, James Hurd; and great granddaughter, Annalisa Stacy.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 69 years, Tommy Strange; daughter, Mary Futch and husband, Mack of Stamps; granddaughter, Alesha Stacy and husband, Mike of Magnolia; grandson, Brandon Futch and wife, Aubrey of Bauxite; three great grandchildren, Gavin Harris and wife, Annah of Fulton, Rylin and Tynlee Futch of Bauxite; one great-great granddaughter, Emrye Blaze Harris due in September; numerous nieces and nephews; brother in law, Benjamin Strange and wife, Cynthia of Mineola, TX; sister in law, Elizabeth Emerson of Magnolia.

Graveside services will be held at 2P.M. on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Wilson Cemetery in Lewisville with Rev. Ron Eldridge officiating under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Homes.
