Doyle Hugh Nations, age 84 of Taylor, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015. Mr. Nations was born February 19, 1931 to Furlow and Julia Nations. He was a member of Stateline Baptist Church. His life was his church work and had pastored since 1965.

Mr. Nations was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jerry Wayne Nations; and sister, Dorothy Rae Whitehead.

He is survived by his wife, Gertie Nations of Taylor, AR; daughter, Gwen Patrick of Springhill, LA; brother, James Carroll Nations and wife, Joyce of Walkers Creek; sister, Doris Dean Nations of Springhill, LA; two grandchildren, Sheri Berry and husband, Rodgers and Randy Pool; five great grandchildren, Hannah, Brandi, Blaze, Elayna and Jilli; a host of nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015 at Stateline Baptist Church with Rev. John Nations and Bro. Eddie Robinson officiating. Interment will follow at Stateline Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes of Stamps, AR. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the church.
