Doyle Raymond Rogers, 81, of Stamps, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021. He was born July 18, 1940 in Stamps, Arkansas to Ray and Evelyn (Knighton) Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a long time member of Stamps Church of Christ. He served in the National Guard and was a retired farmer. Doyle loved to fish, hunt, ride on his land, listen to bluegrass music and watch bull riding. He loved spending time with his family and friends, but most of all he was a Christian man who loved God.
Doyle was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Joy Rogers of 56 years and sister, Jeanette Rogers.
He is survived by three sons, Lacy Rogers and wife, Connie of Stamps, AR, Jeffrey Rogers and wife, Lisa of Pittsburg, TX and Max Rogers and wife, Michelle of Stamps, AR; one daughter, Gloria Kitchens and husband, Tim of Lewisville, AR; two brothers, Edwin and wife, Mary Jo and Jerry Rogers both of Stamps, AR; two sister in laws Glenda Beth Booth of Tyler, TX and Carolyn Simmons of Stamps, AR; nine grandchildren, Jeremy Kitchens (Tracy), Anthony Rogers (Morgan), Katy Hays (Ryan), Shelly Cason (Josh), Carissa Bryant (Lawson), Emily Rogers, Lyndsie Rogers (Zane), Raegan Rogers and Maelee Rogers; and eight great grandchildren Gage Kitchens, Kinley Hays, Luke Hays, Everly Rogers, Travis Rogers, Marlee Rogers, Mason Rogers and McKane Rogers.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 2:00P.M. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps with Bro. Steve McIntosh and Bro. Nick Perry officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M.
