Dustin James Glasgow, 25, of Rosston/Stamps, Arkansas gained his permanent angel wings on September 11, 2018 due to his lifelong battle with multiple medical conditions including CHD (Congenital Heart Disease).

Dustin is survived by his Momma, Andrea Eleanor Glasgow-Stuart, his Dad, Michael Ray Griffin and two brothers, Robert Allen Glasgow Jr. and Jesse Wyatt Ward, all of Rosston/Stamps, Arkansas. Two sisters, Jesi Kaylyn Griffin of Hope, Arkansas and Rozlyn Nicole Glasgow of Donaldson, Arkansas. Maternal Grandparents, Barbara Jo Martinez and Dennis Lee Stuart Sr., both of Stamps, Arkansas. Paternal Grandmother, Betty Jane LeBlanc, of Junction City, Arkansas. Aunts, Jennifer Clara Redman, of Stamps, Arkansas, Rachelle and spouse Chris Clark of Junction City, Arkansas, Emily Michelle LeBlanc, of Mt. Holly, Arkansas and Tammy Lynn Freeman, of Conway, Arkansas. Uncles, Dennis "Pete" Lee Stuart Jr., of Texarkana, Arkansas, Mark and spouse Mary LeBlanc, of Junction City, Arkansas. His two precious Nieces, Addyson Jayne Glasgow and Rowyn Averly Glasgow, of Norphlet, Arkansas and a Nephew, Logan Eubanks, of Prescott, Arkansas. Cousins, Alyssia Ana Marie Avila, of Stamps, Arkansas, Hunter Goocher, Kyle Kidwell, Valarie Kidwell, Jr and spouse Jewlia Lynn LeBlanc, Sparky Tyler LeBlanc, Chrystal Rose LeBlanc and Katlian Moore, all of Junction City, Arkansas, Shyann Mikayla Dawn Freeman and Jacob Dalton Freeman, both of Conway, Arkansas. Included in his large family are these very special people in Dustins life, Elizabeth Jordan Rogers, of Norphlet, Arkansas, Ariel Michelle and Kody Dewayne Feutral, of McKamie, Arkansas, Kyron "Scrub" Satterwhite, of Buckner, Arkansas, Brendan "Gibby" Plumley, Cissy Elaine Horn, Madison Elaine Horn, Calan Wayne Sanders, Jim J Ward and Stephen Austin Fletcher of Stamps, Arkansas, Denyce and Allen Glover, Shawn and Taylor Kendricks, of Conway, Arkansas, Susie Nicole "Nikki" and spouse Tracy Don Godsby, Trista Renae Grant, of Donaldson, Arkansas and Eddie Lee Lewis, of Mesa, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfathers, Papaw Roger LeBlanc of Junction City, Arkansas, Papaw Archie Glasgow of Odessa, Texas and his cousin, Melissa Stuart of Antioch, California.

This Angel among us, Dustin James Glasgow was born November 9, 1992 in Mineola, New York to his "Momma", Andrea Eleanor Glasgow - Stuart of Rosston/Stamps, Arkansas, his Dad, Michael Ray Griffin of Rosston, Arkansas and his biological father, Robert Allen Glasgow of Granbury, Texas. He was presented to the Lord in dedication on April 14, 1995 in Little Rock, Arkansas at Arkansas Childrens Hospital by Rev. Sidney Caswell. Although Dustin was not expected to live past the young age of three, he proved his strength, courage and will to survive to all by far exceeding those expectations. Nicknamed "The Legend" by his amazing team of Heart Docs (Cardiologists) at Arkansas Childrens Hospital, he continually proved this title to be true each and every day of his life. Although Dustin was never able to speak the typical way we all do, at 8 years old, for the first of many times to come, he said "Momma!" Which continued to prove to those who loved him just how special he was and always will be. For being mentally at a level of a 3-6 months old, he had more ability to teach the power of unconditional love than anyone his family and friends had or will ever know! His world of happiness included getting the one thing allowed by mouth to him, in a baby bottle, his ice cold gatorade that we always called his "sippy". He laid back, (only position Dustin could manage alone) in his big comfy bed, drinking his sippy and watching his cartoons. Movie after movie, "toon toon" after "toon toon", Dusty lived in a world many seen as unfortunate, but to him and all who knew and loved him, the only thing unfortunate in their lives with him, was the day the Lord called their angel home! With a smile that would light up the dimmest of rooms and laughter that melted even the hardest of hearts, this angel on earth lived his life happier than most that are granted even the simplest of pleasures like walking, talking, riding a bike, eating food, or even simply brushing their own hair. Their precious angel had the occasional moody moments, just as everyone does but even with a long list of medical diagnosis that proved he couldn't show these emotions, he would prove them wrong again. The amount of unconditional love that poured from every ounce of his beautiful soul always helped him to turn those very short moments into smiles, laughs and his version of loves that always held the occasional hair pulling because that was just his way. Our sweet, sweet baby boy, "Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not." We love you our angel, forever and always you will remain within our hearts and souls.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Stamps, Arkansas at the Thomas Street location. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Smith Funeral Home in Stamps. The family requests if possible please wear red in some form to help spread awareness of Dustins main diagnosis, Congenital Heart Disease. A celebration of his life will follow at his home in Rosston, Arkansas.
