Ms. Earnestine Hughey Rowe, 74 of Wake Village, TX passed away December 4, 2015 at Autumn Leaves Memory Care in Arlington, TX, She was born in McKamie, AR to the late Earnest and Lucille Owens Hughey.

Earnestine graduated high school from Lafayette County Training School in Stamps, AR. She worked in the field of health care as a Nurse Assistant at Wadley Hospital but most of her years were spent as a laborer for the Department of Defense at three different military installations: Louisiana Ammunition Plant (Minden, LA), Lone Star Ammunition Plant (Texarkana, TX) and her final employment at the Red River Army Depot (Texarkana, TX).

Earnestine spent her entire life in service to her family, church and community, especially with the youth and children ministries. She labored faithfully as an Evangelist always witnessing and teaching the Word of God to anyone that would listen. She was a faithful member of Christ Nations Church in Texarkana, TX were she taught in the Children's Ministry, served as a member of the CNC Evangelist team, CNC Prayer team and as an Associate Minister.

Earnestine was preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Lucille Owens Hughey; husband, Horace Franklin Rowe; one brother, Earl Hughey.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, N'Gai Lamart Williams of Cedar Hill, TX; grandson, Christian Williams of Albuquerque, NM; sister Dorothy Jean Hughey Brown (LeRoy) of Buckner, AR, special niece
Cininni Y. Powell (Jewell)of Arlington, TX as well as hosts, of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved her dearly.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Christ Nations Church 600 Sowell Lane Texarkana, TX with Sr. Pastor Issac Pitre officiating. Visitation will be held at A.O. Smith Funeral Home Chapel-415 West First Street, Stamps,, AR December 11, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Interment will be Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, Wake Village, TX.
