Ms. Earties Clayton Glover was born on March 23, 1925 in Emerson, AR to the late Will and Leonia Clayton. She completed her journey to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in her home in Emporia, VA.
Mother Glover was united in holy matrimony to Leonard Warren Polk in 1950. She later married Calvin "Coochie" Glover. Mother Glover accepted Christ at an early age.

She leaves to cherish her memories five children: Aldridge Levelle (Elizabeth)Polk of Emerson, Wayne Edward(Kocino)Polk of Pittsburg, CA, Terry Lynne (Larry) of Emporia, VA, Elgin Allen(Diane) of Rowlette, TX and Eloise Turner of Emerson. Also raised as her own: Stanley Young of Emerson, Stephanie (Eric) Murphy, Gerry (Teresa) Young of Lt. Rock, Gregory Carter of Emerson and Cartrell Carter, Jr. of Alaska. Three sisters: Bertha, Beozia and Norvelle. Two brothers: Alvin L. Clayton of Hot Springs, Dempsey O. Clayton of Pittsburg, CA. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A special friend Mother Bessie Phipps of Emporia, VA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Greater Roadside Church of God in Christ in Emerson, AR. Officiating will be Pastor Larry Moore, Sr. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery. Under the direction of Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2015 from 11-5 p.m. at the funeral home.
